Hi, i've just finished putting together my new computer. The specs are:
AMD Athlon 64 x2 3800 AM2
GA-M55plus-S3G Motherboard
2x 1gb Kingston 533 DDR2
XFX geforce 7300gt
Seagate Barracuda 250gb
my powersupply is a Hiper HPU-4M580 Type R 580W ATX2.2
I've put everything together, the computer boots fine (but for some reason, my case; a Thermaltake Tsunami didn't come with a PC speaker, are they supposed to?) but my monitor doesn't turn on, the light keeps flashing.
I've made sure the graphics card is seated correctly.
I've tried both RAM sticks on their own.
I've made sure all the power connections are in place.
Does this mean that something I have is faulty?
Also, when i've turned my computer off, the powersupply has been making ticking noises. My friend that's not what should happen. Does that mean my powersupply is broken?
Thanks a lot
