Monitor with built in HD Freeview

Just to clarify, I am aware that there are any number of TVs out there that can do double duty as a computer monitor. I am also aware that I could use an internal or external TV card on my computer, but would prefer not to if I can avoid it.

What though, if I wanted something that was a monitor first and foremost, and a TV second? Are there any proper computer monitors out there that have a built in HD Freeview tuner?

I'd be looking at something between 24" (preferably larger) up to a maximum of 32".

Pretty much the conclusion I have come to, but hoped that someone might know more.

Any downsides to using a tv as a monitor?

The main disadvantage is that you will have some money left over.

Well, if I ended up saving some cash, I guess I'd just have to learn to live with that.....

Also you won't get gsync/freesync, and if you are not careful the TV might have loads of input lag.

This however was the kind of compromise I was concerned about, and made me want to try and find a system that was monitor first and foremost, and a TV second - I would like to retain the monitor specific functions.

Anyone tried using something like the Amazon Fire TV stick connected to a computer monitor?
