Monitor with built-in speakers

I have an existing dell monitor with an official speaker bar that is attached in the bottom which works for my needs. It's powered by usb to my desktop. Now when I try to use it with say my switch, there is no sound, even if I power with a usb plug.

I'm not really a pc gamer, I do some video editing and would like to use only 1 monitor and don't want to buy separate speakers. Is there a monitor out there that would do the job? 27" with built in speakers that can be used with games consoles? Max £180.

If you look for an Electriq on their direct supplier site you can find a 1440p 27" IPS vsync/gsync that comes complete with headphone socket.

The price is right at under £!70 but you can obvio9usly get a lot better, but for the money it's pretty nice. It will definitely give audio to consoles via its speaker port.

Btw why doesn't my speaker when using a switch even though it's powered?
