Monitor with no VESA mount

I have an Acer S240HLBID which has no VESA mount, so I was wondering if there was any way to mount it to a stand, or if there is nothing i can do.

Well depends on how comfortable you are modding it but I had an old acer p series somthing and I opened it up to check the depth at the back found about 4mm free put a metal plate in and drilled mounts into it. Survived 2 years before power supply popped taking the monitor with it.

Short of that there are some monitor mounts that grip on the sides of monitors but they don't sell them here so can't link sorry. (No good for multi monitor setups as it increasing gap between bezels).

I need more room on my desk; I'm contemplating removing the stands and just letting them rest on it
