Hi,
I am looking for a monitor that will have the smallest ghosting and motion blur effect. I care about this because I play a lot in fast games and the current monitor I ordered is unfortunately very bad in this aspect.
I don't care about display type, resolution and size - it would be nice to have 1440p and 27 inches but this is a secondary thing - it should not be free of ghosting and blur as much as it can be.

The first models went to the first fire, but looking at the screenshots from the UFO test it is hard for me to assess how it will look in fast games. My broken monitor that was great LG 24gm77 - in the UFO test the image was very smooth and ghosting / blur was practically not visible and in games it was a real deal. I was thinking about 27gl850 as a successor but from what I see this problem can also occur there and this monitor is considered slightly overrated and it is better to choose Lenovo or Benq EX2780Q?

Currently, I have borrowed from a friend some older benq from 144hz TN and reselling GB3461WQSU because a lot of ghosting/blur. Unfortunately when moving the mouse in games there are afterimages such that the head begins to ache from looking at it. Even when moving some content in windows or browser the letters are blurred so much

Unfortunately, I completely do not know about displays and I did not see too many monitors for gaming and I would ask for help in choosing. Maybe some of you have a model that eliminates these two cases and can recommend something?

What I find is that these 3 below have quite good reviews on rtings and mentioned before LG 27GL850, Lenovo Y27GQ-20 and Benq EX2780Q?

ASUS VG279QM
Nitro XV273X
ASUS VG27AQ

LG 27GL850
Lenovo Y27GQ-20
Benq EX2780Q

Welcome fellow blurbuster! Have to been to www.blurbusters.com? So let me help you the reason for blur is simply sample and hold technology. To stop the blur you neee a really fast transition time on both the monitors hertz and its pixel transition count matters as well.

What you need to do is go for the fastest display possible and i honestly think the Asus VG259QM which is close to the VG279QM really good! But it has issues with elmb sync but even with it off there is very little to no blur at 280hz. I can confirm coming from a strobed display that is is equal to the FG2421 which says a lot. But i believe the Acer Nitro XB273X is the king but it probably costs a lot more.

Personally i think the £268.99 VG259QM to be a steal as unlike the 1440p or 1080p 27 inch the pixels are a lot smaller. If antialiasing bothers me i simply use Dynamic super resolution on Nvidia and run 3840x2160 at 280hz which those non 1080p displays cannot do. And if you have a good GPU games like Overwatch on low look much sharper on low this way and still run 200+ fps.
