Hi guys.

Earlier today I got a a bit of lucozade spilled onto my pc due to my parrot knocking it over. The pc at the time was turned off. I dried it up and turned the pc on only to smell burning. I quickly turned it off and discovered parts of the motherboard and gpu were wet and sticky.

I dried it all off and about 3 hours later I plug it all in - all fans working - all lights on - no burning smell, but the monitor doesn't turn on.

Also I don't get a beep when I turn the pc on anymore (pretty sure I did before)

Any help? Not sure what is broke and what isn't... really confused and lost.

Thanks

Try a alternative graphics card. if the monitor isn't being driven then that's probably where the fault lies.

Unless you use onboard Graphics?

I don't use on board, I tried another graphics card but still doesn't work.

Taking it all apart atm, will update to see if it works in a few hours.

Decided I'm going to replace the motherboard since some of the CPU pins are slightly bent..

This was my computer I bought over 2 years ago:

Can anyone find me a replacement motherboard in the store? I can't find the exact same model that is compatible with all my components above.

Thanks

It seems like I have to buy a new socket 1155 motherboard and a socket 1155 cpu to fit (even though my cpu is perfectly fine?)
