Hey General Hardware folks,

This is my spec;
Intel Core i7-3770K 3.50GHz
Microsoft Windows 8 64-Bit
Corsair Hydro H70
Samsung 250GB SSD 840 EVO x2
MSI GeForce GTX 980 Gaming Edition
MSI Z77IA-E53 Intel Z77
Kingston HyperX Blu 16GB 1600MHz
BitFenix Prodigy 'Tiger' Mini-ITX Cube Case - Orange/Black
Corsair Builder Series CX 600w Modular

I'm wanting to 'upgrade' to a new monitor (currently a Dell @ 1920x1080, 24 inch) and the PC is mainly used for gaming (GTA V, World of Warcraft, Football Manager, Diablo 3).

Would I still be able to run games 'ok' (performance and visuals are important to me) on something like the 'Samsung U28D590 28" 4K 60Hz 1ms Gaming Widescreen LED Monitor' ?

I would go for a 1440p monitor, 4K is quite hard to drive at decent settings for a single card. A single 980 would be grand at 1440p :)

Could you point me in the direction of one?

I have been looking at the 28" Acer G-sync too.

Shivy011 is right about the optimal screen resolution for you and about the point of the B grade stuff all my 3 monitors are b grade and not a single bad pixel but ye its just luck. personally like the llyimia i think it called the Korean monitors are very good.

While B grade may often be fine, having glanced through the thread for that particular screen, I'm not sure I'd want one as several people seem to have returned them due to various issues.
