Monitoring a Child's MSN Usage

What is the best way to go about monitoring an 11 year old's MSN usage? Currently the MSN client is set to automatically log conversations and therefore they can be reviewed from other accounts on the same machine, however this will only last so long until they start playing around in the preferences of the program.

The child will be informed that they are being monitored.

It's pay for, but the trial seems to do everything... I think it's a time trial.
