Monitoring Dell SAS 6 i/R (LSI 1068 chipset) on ESXi 5.1

Any advice? I've found a few guides about enabling MegaRAID on PERC controllers but not much for the more basic SAS/1068 controllers. On Windows I can monitor the card using the LSI MegaRAID software. So far I've tried installing a .vib but nothing comes up under sensors in vSphere client.

Is it in a PowerEdge or "whitebox" server?

It was in a 2950 originally, but now it's in a custom build.
