Monitors everywhere!

I´m toying with the idea of getting a GTX1070 (currently have a R9 280x) but I am in need of a new monitor. Something 27” and up. Would consider curved. Budget £400 - £500 for the monitor.

Ideally a 1440p with g-sync. 144mhz is probably overkill with just a single 1070.

Unless people suggest something different? If I keep the R9 280x and get a freesync monitor perhaps? 1440p might be a struggle though?

Just so you know the 280x doesn't support freesync.

I am in the same boat as you, and for me i am considering getting a dell S2716DG, and then picking up a 1070/1080.

Either way to get the most out of freesync or G sync, you are going to have to upgrade your 280x.

Ah yea that slipped my mind.

1070 with gsync get me 144 fps on games like wow and bf1 with 1440p? If not 144mhz monitor seems overkill
