We are (meant to be) moving into a new premises in a few weeks time and will be setting up a new office with dual displays on each pc. I currently have Dell Ultrasharps at home and absolutely love them but we need to buy 8 so can’t really afford £200 per monitor.

So, what would be a good 24” option for mostly office work with a bit of design work? Will need to be visa mountable.

Depends, when you say a "bit of design work", how colour accurate are you expecting it to be?

If you wanted a Dell specifically the Dell E2417H is an option for a vesa mountable 24" 60hz IPS, out of the box (I haven't tested it calibrated) colour accuracy is decent but the ultrasharp is still noticeably better. Downside is they have quite big bezels which may or may not be a problem depending on how you're going to lay out the dual screen setup. Can be picked up for £130 each

Otherwise the Iiyama Prolite XU2492HSU-B1 - 24" 60hz, vesa mountable, slim bezels, good colour accuracy, £125 each - review; https://www.kitguru.net/peripherals...2493hs-b1-24in-professional-monitor-review/4/

Neither are going to win any awards, but with a sub £200 budget they're okay. Since none of these are precalibrated out of the box they're all going to vary in colour calibration though, so you'd need to do some tweaking to make them look the same in a dual screen setup
