After reinstalling my OS my extra monitors are no longer detected. I have 3 acer al1916w two of the old style and one of the new. The old ones do not work no matter what port on any gfx card i use.

I posted this in monitors but got no help.

ANyone got any advice or help, literally any?

I cant even figure out where theblame lies i.e. nVidia or Acer

Do you have Sli? If so disable it and try changing the display of the primary adapter to Analoge from whatever it was before. Obviously you'll need to have both your working and non-working monitors plugged in.

Also use Display Properties Settigns and see if you can 'Extend my Windows Desktop'.

Ive attempted to simplify the situation by dropping to pne card and two monitors.

BOth monitors are plugged in but in display settings the 2nd one is not there. It only ever recognizes the acer that is the newer revision and the old revision ones may awell not be plugged in.

I know the screens work, i;ve tried them on other pcs but theres no hope on this machine.
