Most better quality makes have tilt and swivel stands that can tilt 90 degrees and even the ones that do not usually have what is called a "vesa" mount (4 holes on the back) that will allow a differant stand with this ability to be added.
Any monitor with this ability will likely say so in its description.
hmmm on just having a check im stunned by just how few monitors on sale here actually have full tilt and swivel stands so I guess the above is not that helpful
you can buy a neoflex LCD stand that fits on most monitors for about £35 just buy two stands they will do vertical on most 24" monitors, im considering doing that with 2 Benq G2420HDBL's as i dont have the desk space for 2 monitors side by side so vertical is the only way for me.
Thanks guys, I had a reply from overclockers who said "All our monitors except the Iiyama ProLite B2409HDS 24" Widescreen LCD Monitor and fixed stand and are unable to be adjusted."
and that's an idea EnderXi but I don't think all that works with the Samsung T240
