Why do they supply with 12 O rings for 6 fittings. Should be one per fitting?

First WC loop, so hope I'm not missing something here?

One on both ends of the fitting?

They supply one coloured to the fittings and one black set. Incase you don't want the O ring to match the fitting colour (for some reason). Something monsoon always do.

And if you buy black fittings you get 2 black 'o' rings

Also it can be quite easy to "nip" an o-ring and then end up with a leak.

Well, I just installed all my tubing and I have to say its difficult to tell when the monsoon fittings have had enough in terms of tightening. All of them are pretty much tightened all the way, but I didn't feel as if I was forcing anything.

I'll soon know when I fill it, which won't be tonight because if it leaks I don't want to ruin my new year celebrations!

I'll be sure to post back with the results when I get round to it.
