Monsoon temperature plug

Where does the Monsoon temperature plug go on a Crosshair Viii wifi motherboard?

I thought it went on the thermal sensor pins, but it doesn't fit because of the slow mode switch underneath it.

Why doesn't it fit, is it not just a slim 2 pin connector, similar to those for the front panel switches?

Edit: looking at the photos on OCUK, the monsoon connector looks bulkier than all the other brands?

As you can see here on the Bitspower version it's the normal slim 2 pin connector:

Yeah there's groves on the underside that prevent it from fitting. The switch under it gets in the way.

Really wanted to finish the build in the next couple of days, but the pins won't be accessible once I put in the hard tubing.

Edit: For the sake of a fiver I guess I may as well slice off the grooves with a Stanley?

Yeah I'd do that personally, if it doesn't work then just bin it and buy something else?
