Monster Hunter help

Evening all, I'm looking for a new time killer for my PSP, and thought I might give the MH series a try.

Trouble is, I don't know where to start. Is it worth just jumping in with the newest one (Freedom Unite?), or starting earlier in the series?

Get latest one, get ready for the claw ! It's hard to start with but you will get the hang of it.Massive game and very addictive. !!!!!

I got Unite on my PSP, having never played one before, and I really like it.
Its a massive time killer, you'll definitely get your money's worth!
