Monster munch Doritos & wotsits in Flat editions...

what's your thoughts? My wife bought these by accident (wanted real monster munch) they are so bad i had to send a compliant. Very uncommon for me have you tried them?

I recently purchased monster munch pickled onion flavour, which turned out to be the limited edition Flat version, upon opening the packet.

wanted to share comments.

1. If its limited edition branding should be different, consumers grab from previous experience, This is not what i intended to pay for

2. The flavour is disgusting compared to normal monster munch pickled onion, The flat standard walker style does not work with pickled onion. they taste like a cheap off brand trying to mimic monster munch & missed the mark by miles.

3. you cant have monster munch without the monster

4. The whole point of Monster "munch" is the munch without the monster and the munch their just walkers.

5. my guess is you thinking of dropping the monster & the munch thickness to save a money. if this comes into production as new style. i wont ever be buying them again. as a massive consumer of these crisps that would be massive shame.

Pickled Onion flavour Monster Munch is truly a delight.
Unfortunately, I live in a country where there are only 3 flavours of crisps. Plain, Paprika and Bolognese. That's it.
Fortunately, I can get Monster Munch from expat online stores :D

It's definitely a European thing, was in Croatia last week and the only flavours they had were plain or paprika.

I'm guessing that these regular shaped crisps are cheaper to make, so the profit is higher. Hence pushing them.

I agree this is probably the reason, at the expense of the consumer like usual. It's like the trend of making chocolate bars smaller and charging the same. The combined claws of a packet of Monster Munch probably equates to 1/5 of a packet, so chop em off and give the consumer less while saving a few pennies per bag.

Why on earth are buying walkers? They've been god awful for ages now. Literally five monster munch in a bag, and they are far too crispy/hard now. Tastes like the bags been open for a week.

Give me 1990s ones please :D
