Probably not very helpful but if nothing else its a free bump :p

...but theres a mont blanc store in the City (London) its inside the Royal Exchange, probably not the cheapest place but you can be sure its genuine.

If you want a genuine item go to the mont blanc site and find your nearest dealer.

Otherwise buy a fake, he probbaly wont be able to tell :p

good idea, there is a shop in Birmingham bullring. My sister lives down there will have to get her to nip in

There is a serial number stamped around the clasp of the lid. This is incredibly hard to fake and a lot of people (who make the fakes) dont even know it exists.

You dont need any special tool to read it if you have good eyesight. Also, each mont Blanc comes with a certificate, the number on this should match the one on the pen...

New Mont Blanc pens can't be sold on internet, all you will find are companies advertising them and asking you to contact them with regard to a purchase.

Arnt they ridiculously exspensive? My mate at uni has one and claims it cost 600 quid, or something equally stupid

some are but some models are in the £100-£200 range

as said they can't give prices on the web , I bought a meisterstuck le grand platinum last year for £115

can;t remember which delaer it was but I rand the authorised dealers and haggled over the phone
