Currently have an MSI A650BN in my system and it's a decent PSU, it's cheap and it does its job, but it's somewhat loud, and annoying, so I'm going to be changing it

Budget is going to be about £110ish... I can see that the Corsair 750RMx is in budget as is the MONTECH Century II which is a newer brand in the PSU market

Anyone here using the MONTECH Century II without issues?

It only came out Q2 2025 so no long term testing known yet. It's well rated at Cybenetics - https://www.cybenetics.com/evaluations/psus/2813/

The 1050W is better in a few ways (https://www.cybenetics.com/evaluations/psus/2812/) and still under your budget. I'm using the 1050w, very happy with it, zero fan upto the point where GPU/AiO fans kick in any way so can't say I can actually tell when the fan ramps up.

Appreciate that, I've just decided it isn't worth the uncertainty I might have so I went for the rm750x

Cheers

There were several of the new RMx series failing so I would have avoided that. Hopefully it was just a bad batch and it's sorted now. I would have gone for a Phanteks GH series, the 750w is only £85 or the 850w for £105 and both have nice braided cables.

Just had my MONTECH Century II 1050w also. Will give future updates, but so far does the job. Im not pushing it anywhere near its limits, but for the price i paid seemed a no brainer. 10yr Warranty also.
