Moon shot from this evening

Just got home, the night sky has looked like this the last couple of nights, kinda looks cool with the blanket of cloud so I thought I'd try and capture it.

Not bad mate. Maybe you could crop off some of the right hand side? It is nice how it is though.

The moon is too over exposed, it looks like you made a circle selection in Photoshop and pressed delete.

You've exposed for the clouds, as above I feel it would be better with the moon correctly exposed and the clouds dark, although I've tried this before and it can be a bit of a pain

I noticed the moon at like 5am this morning setting on the horizon. I was too tired to be bothered to shoot it.. But it was very pretty.

600mm, nice

Although, at that focal length you were surely using a tripod (or very effective IS, I guess...) - so why the high ISO? ;o

Because I am an arse and forgot to adjust the ISO before shooting..

I liek your first shot, yeah maybe the moon is over exposed but the clouds look awesome!
