Moon with Celestron 9" Telescope & D4S ( about 2350mm focal length Equiv. )
Oops - Shows how long since I had the scope out. Bit of brain fade got me to thinking it's was the 11 inch, it's actually the 9.25 so focal length is 2350 mm not 2800 mm
Haven't had it out in a while but the other recent Moon Pics got me thinking.
I can pretty much get a full frame in the D4S. When I start playing around with Barlows ( magnifying tubes ) it gets a bit silly.
The shots below are full frame - no cropping.
Atmospherics weren't too good this night, bit of a jetstream going on.
Time to dust it off and have another go.
These shots are from earlier this year. Hope you enjoy.
Afraid the resizing for the forum looses some of the quality.
And a close up with one of the barlows attached. Can't remember which one. I think 1.5X possibly 2X
