more annoying problems

what would cause this (pretty sure its a Netbios issue but don't know where to start)

we have a another network connected to ours via VPN in another location, Now I can ping the I.P of the computer(s) and I can ping the FQDNS name ie: server.domain.co.uk but can't ping the netbios name ie server

any ideas?

Just to let anyone know I managed to fix this issue, simply by adding both domains dns suffix to the TCP/IP DNS settings

ie: domain1.test.co.uk, and domain2.test.co.uk, so dns will automaticly try these suffix's at the end of the NB name before dropping.
