the tuniq tower fits nicely

lol i made a fan filter for the side fan out of tights

that is probably the best i can do for cable management until i get some cable extentions and a new IDE cable..

i actualy had it looking good and neat until i put the usb/sound/IDE cables in. shame antec couldnt have made those cables longer. so gona try n get some extensions n rout them round the back of the motherboard tray somehow.

infact im probably going to cut 2 holes in the tray when i get the time. as i like things to look tidy

going to try and put everything behind the motherboard tray as it looks like theres enough room there for the fat cables. this was just to show how it is with no mods and no extensions (pretty nasty i think to be honest).

not actualy sure what dvd drive it is. i took it from my last pc. i just sanded the front bit off and gave it a little paint job. looks a lot better that was i think.

yeh i thought that too m8, you cant see on the pic but there are too little things on the case that lift it up from the bottum of the case to allow airflow. i started a thread about it just to be sure before i did it

ive cleaned it about 5/6 times now.

i just do it every time i do something inside the pc, which has been a lot recently.

i thought about a side window, but then decided not to due to my very limited experience and lack of money if things were to go wrong at the moment. must admit a matt black finish on the inside would look very good tho.

i did put it that way originally as it seemed most logical, but then i saw some little hooks that lift it up of the bottum of the case (allowing airflow for the fan) so i decided to do that instead. the main reason i decided to change it over was for cable management which i am kinda fussy about.

hents the mod im planning to do in a few weeks.

i know this is nothing to do with your question, but i thought instead of making a new thread...

the lil green and blue circles represent small led's that will be hidden behind the hd cage. the random colour'd cables are just so you can see where they all are and the black stuff at the bottom is the akasa sound proof stuff (mostly for looks to be honest).

im new to this, but think its Achievable?

it looks like about 2cm from the side pannel. i cant rly measure it accuratly enough to be certain, but to me it looks like 6mm extra would fit ok. either way its going to be very tight.

i decided against hacking the case up, but ive made some changes to try n make cable management better, so thought id post to give u sumit to look at

yea i managed to snap one of the fins of the 140mm fan

i didnt realise it would be so difficuilt to replace.

my usb n sound wires are the normal length at the moment but they are very stretched which is probably a bad idea but oh well :/

edit: no there isnt any holes under the PSU, it would make more sense to have it fan facing up but it doesnt seem to get hot or anything the way it is.

actually i didnt see a big change in the cpu temps after taking it out, mabye a few C here and there but no major change supprizingly. mind the reason i took it out is because i didnt think it was working proplerly (snapped the blade when testing it out of the case). so mabye had the fan been working properly (if it was broken) before i took it out of the case, i would have seen a bigger temp change.
