More Catalyst Problems

I'm trying to install the latest drivers onto my Biostar 790GX XE board (HD3300 graphics) but I keep getting the following error:

"catalyst install manager failed to initialize detection manager"

This is a clean install but I can't get the drivers to load at all. I tried uninstalling but there's nothing in the programs menu to unistall. Anyone else had this?

Thanks but nothing worked. Might as well just reinstall vista again, probably quicker than spending time on an answer!
