More competion for TSMC

More competition is always nice, but i think it's a bit naiive to assume that TSMC are a bunch of bumbling idiots and Samsung / GlobalFoundries will suddenly be able to fix everything.

Cutting edge fabrication isn't easy, I fully expect the new guys will suffer from delays and yeild issues too on 2-3 Bln transistor chips.
 
It's about time OCUK got over their h-e-x-u-s hatred - it's been years now, plus everyone knows what to type when they see *****
 
Surely it is because they promote competitors and not because they are hated.
Good point point about everyone expecting gf and others to be white knights though lol.

No, its because Spie and (iirc) the top guy at <starred out place> had a falling out many MANY years ago.

Since then any talk of such place have been banned, and the word added to the swear filter.
