Good evening people

Okay, heres the story - myself and a friend travelled to sweden recently for the Dreamhack event, with our computers - when my computer got there, unpacked it and it all worked fine - then packed it all up again and brought it home.

Now when i unpacked, the rubber mountings for my HSF came off, and was hanging loose on one single piece of rubber (may have touched the graphics card or not, i cant be sure)

Now when i have plugged everything in and booted it up, the computer will start up, all lights come on, the graphics card fan comes on and so on - but no signal is being received by the monitor.

Do any of you have any things i can check, to see why things wouldnt be working?

What other information do you need?

Hmmm thats a shame, then perhaps try the onboard GFX if that's available, then at least you can rule out whether the GFX is borked or not?

Did you happen to drop your pc or hit it hard against a wall or something? Or someone sabotaged your pc while you're sleeping during the event. Lol

Nah it was fine at the event and until i packed it away, bubble wrapped up the case and the monitor, and it went home in the plane just like the way it got there, few dents in the case but everything on the inside bar the HSF was still fixed in tightly

I remember reading somewhere, that no beeps means PSU  but please DONT quote me on that. try this link and see if that helps:

http://www.pchell.com/hardware/beepcodes.shtml

or

http://www.bioscentral.com/beepcodes/awardbeep.htm

Make sure you find out which BIOS you are using though as the error codes may be different for different BIOS versions....

Kiz

Could be the PSU, only other one i have to test is broken ;P

So i will get a friend to come around tomorrow and will borrow some of his components i think
