Hello,
I want to add another 8Gb to my system, I have this in it G.Skill RipJawsX 8GB at the moment (https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-060-GS).
Should I choose this so it's all matched or use the Team Group elite RAM (https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-020-TG&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=1517) thats a little bit cheeper?
The timings are a bit better on the G.Skill but currently there is no overclock on the 2500k although I might well o/c it in the future.
The heat sinks are an is as I'm using a Antex water cooler for my CPU.

I'm glad you said that, I ordered the GSkill RAM yesterday.
Will be going in:
Intel Core i5-2500K @ 4.0GHz
HIS 6870 IceQ 1028Mb
Gigabyte Z68AP-D3 Intel Z68
BeQuiet Pure Power L8 630W
G.Skill RipJawsX 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600MHz Dual Channel
Antec Kúhler H2O 620

The o/c has only been done by upping the multiplier, nothing else has been changed.

Well it's here and will go in when I get home.
Should I set the timings on the RAM in the BIOS or leave at auto?
Or should I go for different ones to the ones specced?

Hiya, got it in and shown in CPUz, however the timings are 9-9-9-24 under something call JEDEC1 but the frequency is well below 800MHz (which I think it should be as it 1600MHz RAM). JEDEC5 has 800MHz and 9-9-9-25 timing.
There are a couple other JEDEC entries too.
Is this correct?

Got some pics done now:

Bit puzzled with the spped tab show different info to the memory tab though.

The links below each pic go to my photobucket where they are hosted, and are too small there as well! Can send you a dropbox link if that helps?

Is 11-11-11-28 correct? The description of the RAM on the pack and webpage shows 9-9-9-24.
The difference could be my understanding!
Will run memtest over night.

Set the timing in the BIOS, but now have to work out the speed settings as it is showing as 1557MHz, but I guess 50Mhz isn't going to make any noticable difference.
With the timings correct and speed almost correct I've left it running memtest for the day.
