I know there's been concerns with Ford/ST owners about OBD2 thefts and how easy/quick they are for recent cars, but something appeared on my news feed over the weekend:

I know that's South Africa (and I have no idea why I'm getting SA news...), but are the locks the same globally? It seems like a brute force attack on the door lock can disable the alarm and unlock all doors?!? The vid in the article suggests this by someone having a go at the drivers door, but then accessing the boot and rear door the other side… crazy if true… and how long before it’s prevalent here?
