Pads on 3-4 year old MX5 mouse started to wear and curl on the corners, making a scraping sound and not tracking cleanly.

Sent mail to Logitech asking if i could buy some, they replied next working day, asked for my address and sent them for free, arriving 2 days later. They did the same in previous years when my MX revolution did the same thing.

Its only a bit of sticky plastic, but its still cracking customer service, as a result all my peripherals are still Logitech, mouse, keyboard, wheel , joystick and will continue to be.

Cheers Logitech.

I bought Hyperglide skates for my G5 - hell of a difference over standard pads

They come in a pack of two sets for about £3 direct from hyperglide usa

The first set got scratched to hell on my desk so now I've got my BoogieBug I'll be putting the new fresh set on and feeling the hyperglidey goodness :) lol

Mind if I ask for some more info on these hyperglides?

thats worth a look, what mouse mat do you use ? , am using a Razor exact mat, seems pretty good with the MX5 pads.

Been using my desk surface, but that wrecked the first set - now I'm on a BoogieBug, and with the clean, brand new set it feels amazing!!
