Since you ask... For general shopping, Waitrose, though for meats I try to go to the butchers at least once a week, though the counter at Waitrose is pretty decent for a supermarket IMO - and I'm a food snob.
Convenience shopping I go to Sainsbury's - and again their counters aren't too bad sometimes, but that's usually for convenience emergency purchases, as it takes about 25mins to go to Waitrose and 5 mins to go to Sainsbury's.
The butcher is walking distance but there's often a queue so you have to time it right
I'm sure Asda is better than I give it credit for, it just appears cheap and nasty to me - however if you all tell me the quality is high then I shall believe you - however I'd be comparing it to the butcher's and what I can get at Waitrose.![]()
I find Tesco Finest, 28 day hung beef is quite good - costs a bit more but worth it imo
