So I'm confused. More so due to lack of user input / user support for a certain board to compare and give long term support.

I game, I want to overclock it all, but will game more, plus I do all the other menial things (from music, to graphics, to creating servers, running windows/linux etc etc). My budget is sub-200 UKP, and I will have the room inside the windowed case to fit XL ATX if needed, Z87 req'd with dual SLI 770 in the near future.

Everywhere I read, I see the Gigabyte z87x-OC being recommended as a great buy over the Asus Sabertooth, Hero and Gene's etc for OC'ing, nothing on its gaming acceptance.

I was almost set in stone to buy it over the Sabertooth, but can I find any gaming reviews, or user opinions on having used the Giga OC, or a massive fanbase, let alone trying to find any pictures of the this orange board inside a machine to compare aesthetics? ...Well it has me stumped.

Easier solutions would be to buy the Hero, ignore the missing features of the Gene to get the larger board for slots, and enjoy the easier to match colours of black and red and the support from the ROG community. Or grab a Sabertooth, enjoy the TUF board look and neutral colours, and enjoy the mass base of fans.

Your thoughts appreciated!
