The first one jumps out as a favourite for me. You've got much more of a sense of speed with the blured back ground - where you panning? I think the fact that you've left some space on the left of the frame adds to the effect - it feels as if the bike's got somewhere to move to. In fact I think that effect would be enhanced if you'ed left even more of the track visible on the left. Pitty that you've cliped the bottom off the wheel. Really nice shot though.

Not bad mate. Im thinking of trying some of this myself at Ludlow on the 19th.

nice one. i should be going to too. if its anywhere near as good as the first round it will be an excellent day of racing. most of the people i spoke to at the first round at hopton seemed to think that ludlow was a better course so its definately one to watch.

Golden Ape - thats my favourite of the day. i was panning at 1/125 with some fill in flash. i know what you mean about the wheel, i havent cropped any of my shots though so i guess i was just a tiny bit late on the shutter. i really need a faster wide angle lens. sigma 18-50 is just too slow to focus most of the time so im using a canon 24-85 usm.
