Oh nice! The 680 block looks weird though :S, why does the inlet and outlet block stick out so much?

What makes the cpu block worth so much? Serious question? are there any significant advantages to having it compared to others?

It's to make flow direction easy. They have a sweet sli adapter we will be listing once it's out too. Check the product images on the item page to see the sli example. It's a much better way of doing things in my opinion, you can run serial or parallel flow on multi card setups much easier using this method.

Really impressed with the quality of xspc recently and it's a brand that OcUK is really pushing to get behind at the moment.

They have some epic products in the pipeline too.
Interesting times within watercooling.

The copper raystorm is a ltd edition at the moment. That's why it costs more as manufacturing runs are much smaller which sadly drives the cost up. A copper top instead of delrin is the single contributor to the higher price.
I'm sure I don't need to explain the copper would be a better conductor of heat than a delrin/acetal/pom/plexi top.

This is what makes the EK SupremeHF CU the best block that EK makes.

I think there is a review on martins or skinnee labs but I am on my phone at the moment so can't check.

Cross flow rads will be much the same as the standard
EX rads.
I am unsure if they are dual pass or not but will test myself when they arrive.
Xspc don't release untested products so these will have been through the wars in testing and R&D in the same way they did before presenting the original EX rads

In the future, we are planning on bringing Aquacomputer and Watercool to OcUK.
This will however take some time whilst we build up a relationship and get to a point where we can offer a great range and good pricing.

Our current range of watercooling covers all bases but if we are missing something, the product suggestion forum has been moved to the top of the forum to make it more obvious. If there is something you think we should stock, I would love to hear your thoughts and would also offer feedback on the viability of any suggestions.

The move was part of our commitment to improving customer service and something we hope that customers will make more use of if they wan a product that we don't carry.
This is something that is better suited to watercooling hardware as we would never be able to carry every line ever made.

Xspc has been a major brand for us for as long as I can remember but I have been in talks for a long time with XSPC to get support from them for the entire range to be carried by us.

We have EK as our current leading partner for watercooling hardware and I wanted to introduce another direct vendor who we have excellent relationships with who I knew could take on an equally good position for us.

This is because from a customer service point of view, we feel that the quality of the products stand out and that the RMA terms for XSPC products not just met but go beyond our expectations.
This allows us to pass on this service to our customers who ultimately are the ones who should benefit.

That's a very good move and i'm hoping aswel that you guys at ocuk will be able to develop good relationships with those from germany ;) to bring us the "german engineered" water cooling hardware that some of us might want. I'm fairly new to watercooling still but after seeing so much development from how water blocks and water cooled systems use to look, as you say i think this year will be very interesting in relation to new designs that are starting to surface.

I know Watercool heatkiller range are looking promising for sure, i mean just look at that backplate! Aquacomputer aswel look very promising!

It's just nice to see something different other than EK after EK after EK as everyone on here seem to have EK hardware now and i fully understand that it will take some good time before we'll see some other brands surfacing.

Keep up the good work OCUK!

WoW £97 for the XSPC RayStorm CPU WaterBlock (Intel) Copper, l can understand a GPU Block being that price, but a CPU Block.

thanks for the kind words.

everyone uses EK for a reason. they are well priced and awesome products but it is certainly something we can improve on. having a good range is one thing but we aim to have a great range, that is the only way to be doing things moving forward.

@OLDPHART - Under £100 for two solid blocks of highly machined copper is quite good imho.
Machineing copper is a pita - and the reason xspc stopped making the excellent 'edge' block
You get the better bracket and the top will not crack ... But still it's dear
No major benifit over the Acetal Top unless your chilling the coolant. Then it's worth every penny

Just noticed your going to stock the XSPC compression fittings - very nice low profile design

@ shadowscotland > LoL, yes under a £100 > £97, they may as well made it £99.99 and thats under a £100 to. :p

Watercool Heatkiller Rev 3 CPU Waterblock Intel 1366 : All Copper[stainless steel bracket] £50 using one myself, a very good CPU Block and that is also under a £100. ;)

The full copper HK3 was well over £100 when it was new and the top block available.
Still a great block - but the people what the best - so it's just clearance stock now (and a great buy)
