Makes you wonder if theyll make the PS4 backwards compatible if they are now attempting to put effort in creating these collections that include PS2 titles. Seems a lot of effort late in the PS3 cycle when something like backwards compatibility is more of interest early in a consoles cycle.

I hope they do make it compatible, not just disc games but think of all the digital games aswell, would be crap if we cant use them on the PS4

or perhaps they are pushing it all out onto ps3 as it wont be possible, so trying to keep the ps3 as a viable platform alongside ps4.
