More POWAH!!!

I got the 4P rig all nicely set-up in the Xigmatek Elysium case along with 4 Noctua CPU Coolers (nice and quiet now compared to what it was). I also added some nice little passive copper heatsinks to help cool those important bits ;)

Need to figure out how to monitor CPU temps and then see about getting the modified bios so that I can overclock it :D

All up n running fine - put the new project address in etc and stats showing now :D

I figured out with the cpu clients were crappin out too - some projects don't like odd thread cpu clients - so I've switched all cpu's to even (will drop a few ppd but worth it in long run)

seems Biffa is slightly outdoing me ppd atm but t'is luck of the draw - but when core 17 gets released public (with new improvements) I think my 18 gpu's might make a difference :D

The 5 series have shown a good improvement on beta but I've left the 6 series off beta as they not as good.

Biffa must be having a few teething troubles - looks like both his 4P rigs have not been folding over the past week - plus his stats (own) have not updates for past 6 hours

imagen if you had another 4p rig bob :o , hasnt baba still got a spare one hes trying to sell , some rich folder should pull his arm of :D

The thought had crossed my mind, but....

I seem to be having a few minor (hopefully) issues with my new 4P rig.

Two of the memory slots for one of the CPU's have failed - which has had an approx 10% drop in performance.

The rig was fine when I got it from BaBa (no complaints from me) and BaBa has been more than helpful in trying to assist with problem solving. The issue arose after I put the motherboard in it's new case.

Until I can get the rig back to it's full potential - any further upgrades have been put on hold.

I have also emailed Supermicro to see if they would be able to repair/replace the CPU socket - if it comes down to it.

If i'm unable to reconcile the issue and the board is irreparable it'll be sold on at a discount and a new board purchased.
