More PSU advise

Hi Guys,

So since buying my system i have gone mad and now i feel my psu is slightly underpowered.

System is
i7 2600k @4400
p67 ud3 board
8gig ram
and two 6950 in cross fire

i have a OCZ 700 powersupply, i think it was around £50 so not expensive.
To make it run my second 6950 i had to buy some molex adaptors.

Anyway twice now while in the depths of crysis 2, the computer has turned off with no warning, it never used to do this until i added my second 6950 and i feel the psu is the cause.

What size psu should i be looking for? i see a offer from overclockers for the becool 850w is fairly well priced, but do i need more? or whats your choice?

Budget isnt really limited but i dont think i would want to spend £200. more like £130

A second card requires you to add another ~160 Watts. You need a 650+ Watt power supply unit and if you use it in a high-end system a 800+ to a KiloWatt is recommended especially if you plan on any overclocking.

Looks like a corsair HX850 would deliver stable power that meets your requirements. and if you wanted to pay the extra £12, you could get the top of the line Corsair AX850.

7 year warranty too.
