Heya everyone, im gonna be buying an extra gig or ram (GeIL 1GB (2x512MB) PC6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit) and I was just wondering when I do, does it mean I could overclcok higher? Ive reached a limit of 2.9 and the only differance between me and other people with the same sort of system as me is the ram (they have an extra 1gb)

I was just wondering if the extra 1gb would mean I could reach say 3.2Ghz or something?

Having smaller sticks should actually mean you can overclock further as it places less strain on the memory controller. It's something else that is limiting your overclocking.
