More ram

As title is it worth getting 2gb ram for the system in sig. as to upgade all is expensive and looking for a bit of proformance increase and is the ram the way to go?
System is rock steady since built but with the demades of video editing could do with a bit faster machine, if not the ram any other suggestions?

You may benefit from upgrading to 2GB but it won't be anything jaw dropping. Since you've already got that 2500+ at high speeds, I'd save for a total upgrade if you can.

An additional 1gb of Ram would cost you about £35-40 and would help but you couldn't then transfer it. If you could stretch to about £140 then this would absolutely demolish your current system and should also allow for some overclocking as well.
