hi everyone just wondering if any one can tell me if flashing a bios will allow more
maximum memory as i have a old sony vaio that only allows 1GB max an would like to upgrade it any info would be greatly appreciated

You will need to look at the revision noted on the latest BIOS to see if Sony has programmed it in.

Also it could be a limitation on the chipset being used.

Do you know what ram it takes?
