Slight off topic but have you ever had any trouble from owners taking shots at track days? I'd like to get into motorsport photography at some point and track days seem a good opportunity to get some practice in.

Have never come across any trouble, most trackday organisers have their own pro photographers anyway taking pics all day long, the people who don't want to have their reg known about etc tape it up or remove their plates.
On many occasions infact I've had people come up to me and ask if I got any shots of their car etc.
It is good practice though, I often just pop along if I've got a free afternoon and have found practice makes perfect but also it's nice that you can have a walk around the track(s) when it's virtually deserted and get to know the good vantage points.
