More speed possible?

just been regraded to Pipex Max service, currently connected at 6.8Mbps with these stats :

so will they push the line further?
also is the bits per frame related to the speed? the 273/1843 just seems out of place

could anyone recommend a good router actually?
ive been meaning to get one for awhile so i dont need the PC to be turned on to use xbox live


edit : its just synced up to the line at 7.6mbps after switching to my speedtouch 330 modem
