More Stikfas Fun

After being inspired by a thread in here (I forget who it was by sorry) I bought myself a little stikfa for some fun

This is the first time ive done a photo like this and I think it turned out ok, opinions welcome

only thing im unsure about is the placement of the bloke in the frame.

If you mean where did I shoot them then my kitchen table with a piece of card behind and one underneath and my camera resting on a vhs tape

Not sure what you meant about the borders..

And if anyones interested these were shot with my Sony H1, I finally figured out if you zoom in you get less DOF

Ah perhaps your gamma settings aren't tuned! I can see where you cleaned out the BG in the first pic, lemme show you (this may be hard so if it doesnt show turn your gamme settings up or use this as a guide - 23 shades of grey, 1 pure white and 1 pure black too)

I have adjusted the curves and outlined the area in question to show you what I mean:

ah I see, one of the downsides of using a tft I suppose. Ill see if i can clean it up at work where they have proper CRTs

I'm using a TFT too

Just adjust your screens brightness/contrast in accordance with the grad.jpeg i posted above and all should be fine

yea I had a go, still couldnt see the parts you were on about in the image so i just changed the curves, saw where the weird bits were, put it back again then killed them off. I even tried the adobe gamma calibrator which didnt help much, oh well

Looks like a Stikfas revolution has started lol.

I've just 'won' a Beta Female with Dragon, mainly for the dragon. Got another one on the cards just have to see how it goes

Just scored a Phontom Alpha Male

The figure is clear with the 'death like' cloak and sythe etc.

Wish people wouldnt show me things like this. Before I know it I'll have the set lol.
