More stutter with SLI 980s

I seem to be getting more stuttering on more games with 2 GTX980s than I have ever had!

Games like BF4, Advanced Warfare, Ghosts.

Battlefield use to run ok with 2 gtx 780s now with 2 cards and v/sync on it stutters every sec of so.

All games seem to be fine with 1 card, apart from Advanced Warfare but that's cod so its expected to run crap!

Anyone else found that SLI drivers seem to have gone down hill a bit?

The card are new, give the drivers time.

Advise you read what's what on the Nvidia forums to see if Manuel chimes in.

You not alone OP, even last Gen cards having issues... I guess you all report it to Nvidia.

I would give Nvidia time to sort this out with newer drivers

Not gamed for months. Will test BF4 tonight with a pair of Titans & see if the problems wide spread.

Unfortunately this has been present with the last 3 driver revisions from my own experience. Bf4 being what i play most.

Not always down to the drivers. BF4 in itself can be inconsistent from one day to the next.

Do go and look at Greg's thread! he having issue and other in that thread reporting the same thing. I not having a dig I pointing out you all need to report it.

@ OP. Someone elsewhere posted this :

Very true too i guess.

When I used to play it a lot. It could run smooth for weeks, then suddenly start hitching & stutter on the same drivers. Never a set pattern or server.

No matter, nVidia will be able to provide a Mantle driver soon to fix

Haven't there been like 3 releases already?

Maybe the weak specs are causing these stutters. Or the compression or something they didn't think of/notice during design.

Last few drivers have been dog plop for multi card and Bf4, same hitching here but with dual 780's.

Have you unparked your CPU cores? Or re unparked if fresh OS intsall?

Dependant on his Windows OS that is not needed these days, the Cores are not parked on certain CPU's if any (thread in Windows section AFAIR).

Win 8 there is no need to mess with it with a 4770k that is all I know for my own use.

Pretty sure the Resource Meter tells you if they are parked in Win 7.
