More than one account with Natwest!

Hey guys, just a quick question.

I currently have a "current" account with natwest, is it possible to have 2 "current" accounts?

I assume so. On their current account FAQ, one of the questions is:

"I already have an account with you, why do I need to provide further identification?" (in order to open another)

Seems to imply you can have more than one.

So you don't have 2 current accounts then, as was stated in the OP?

I wanted 2 current accounts as savings account you normally had limitation on how many times you can withdraw etc, but just spootted says "when ever you want" etc.

I will just read in the T&C on each!

When I was self-employed, I found having 2 to be quite useful.

Yes you can. My Nan has one for general things, and another which she uses exclusively for Paypal and eBay... don't ask me why.

I have 2 with NW, one for mortgage and all the bills, the other which wages goes into, savings elsewhere......

Have a read of your terms and conditions, most banks I've dealt with/looked at will specify that any current account you are opening is your main or sole current account and often that you will be paying the majority of your money into it.

With that said I've got more than one account but they're with different banks and they were each a primary current account for me at various points, it's just that I haven't closed them all down as sometimes it's handy to have another account to put money in for a time.
