More than one Steam account?

Can you have more than one Steam account?

Reason being is that I want to get a game for my brother but on a different account than mine. But would this firstly be ok with Steam, to have the two with the same card details (obv not saved in his account) and secondly to link them both to the same email address?

I realise that I can't log on to the two on the same computer, would it work on two different computers in the same house at the same time? I've googled this and haven't found a conclusive argument either way to know if I can do it or not. Just wondered if anyone here has any experience of this eg a brother with a steam account or whatnot.

dunno if you can link to the same address..otherwise should be no problem..

Register him account, buy the game on your account as a gift? that way you don't have to put your details on his account.

I've got 2 steam accounts, so you can do it.

Best off making him an account and gifting him the game via your account.

i have 2 (diff emails).

i wanted psypher, but some german had it, so i had psypherV1 (version1..)

then i started using a 5. It flows. So i own psypher5 on steam too so no one steals it

but yeah, make him an account, he'll love it
