I want to add 3 more sp120 fans to my system ( currently have three sp120s and two sp140s ) which will then be 8 in total

I read that you can buy the " Commander Pro " which supports 6 fans ( for power ) and use some TWO WAY fan splitters to go over the 6 standard..

My fans are run in DC mode, not PWM as on PWM it seems to run at 100% all the time and I cannot set a curve.

So simple question is. Is it safe to use some TWO way fan splitters in this commander pro ?
I currently have a couple of my fans connected with a fan splitter to my mobo ( B450 ) with no issues

Thanks

OK just done some more reading and aparrently it's a bad idea because I have the SP Pro which are 3 pin DC. I need to buy SP Elites which are 4pin PWM then there should be no problems.

Any recommendations on which RGB fans are best if I want 9 120mm fans please ? May as well get rid of the DC fans and get some PWMS. Not sure which ones are decent though

OK decided to keep all the DC fans as they are. Then buy 3 Corsair PWMs and power them seperately via the commander pro
