More voltage for 3 sticks?

Do 3 sticks need more voltage to overclock than either just 1 or 2?
I ask because I used to be able to run my Crucial PC2700 at PC3200 speeds no problem, but as soon as I stuck in a 3rd Stick of nigh-on identical RAM, I can't get anywhere near that, I'm stuck at 350Mhz(175x2). My board only goes up to 2.7V but undervolts so it's more like 2.65. Should I try the 3.3v Universal VDimm mod on my old board? or would it make no difference? Or is there any other way to get a voltage boost?

Hey Cairnsey

I think there is some sort of issue with more than 2 sticks of the same RAM reducing the overclock, let alone different makes. I'd sell the separate stick then get 2 x 1gb of crucial 2700/3200 RAM.

In general, the more DIMMs you add, the less you will be able to OC. You are adding more load to the memory controller. Your drop in this case looks like a chipset limitation and you probably won't do much except add heat if you increase the voltages.
