More XBox Rumours...Constant Internet Connection Required

someone will probably hack the life out the next xbox and play games off line, there is always ways round it. but i really hope they don't go ahead with it, mircosoft even haven't came out to say they aren't doing it.

looks like a wii u and ps4 combo for me

Maybe wait until the xbox is even announced before jumping ship?

Rumours are just that... Rumours.

If the next xbox is "always on" there will be backlash and rightfully so - It's a terrible idea with the standard of connections within countries. In a few years though I can see this being more mainstream across all consoles, but for the time being ISP's are no where near good enough to be able to support this type of system.

I wabt to see what games this system will bring, i own both systems at the moment and have barely any interest in the current ip's on xbox after halo 4

They need to bring more to the table for me, im not much of an online gamer on console i keep that to pc

i know its only rumours, still it would be great for them to say, "we are not doing always on" sony did it.

But i suppose i can only assume.

I'd like to see what happens if they did have this always-on connection. Would people eventually shut up and just get on with it? :p

Why do people moan about kinect when it's just as prevalent with ps3 and move?

I would hazard a guess that it is because Kinect is used in other parts of the "OS" whereas Move is just in certain games. People can easily avoid Kinect (don't buy one). All the non gaming functions work without it anyway.

Plus, tbh, Kinect has been successful and people like to knock down success!! Let's be honest Move was not successful!
i know its only rumours, still it would be great for them to say, "we are not doing always on" *sony did it.*

But i suppose i can only assume.
Microsoft (imo), are playing Apple's game. Don't let people force them to make announcements till they are ready. Don't comment on leaks. Let your announcements do the talking. Not saying it will work for MS, but if they announce some amazing features at their event, non internet folk will forget about this always on stuff whether it transpires to be true or not.
