I'm now insured on my mums car whilst i tart my car up and then sell it.(Insuraance expired on mine)

I put my mums car down as being standard as it says "The car has not been modified to increase top speed, performance or acceleration"

The car has 16" official mini alloys which my mum had on as an extra. As it is not a performance enhancing mod is everything ok?

If it was an optional extra when buying the car it should be fine. If she has bought them and added them herself then they should be declared.

My dad spoke to More Than about this a while back as he got some new alloys & they said as long as it does not alter performance theres no problem.

Technically, it's possible for alloy wheels to be considered to ehance top speed, acceleration or performance.
