Just been watching some old music videos on Youtube and I couldnt help but notice how many morons post comments on that site.

Heres one guys side of some arguement he seems to be having.. im not quite sure exactly what language this guy is using lol

Who in their right mind actually writes stuff like this. I would love to see the guy who actually sat at a pc and typed that.

Some people shouldnt be allowed to communicate with others online.

There should be a global spellchecking requirement :)

Agreed; too many youtube videos are spoiled by idiots with an axe to grind. The morons with race, sex, colour, creed, religion etc etc phobias just ruin it, tbh. More often than not I'll just ignore the comments section completely.
 
A new trend seems to of started as well which is spamming the comments with half-assed ASCII..

I also know by normal ocuk standards my post will get spellchecked quoting my comment. to make me look silly :D
 
What music video were you watching? You're probably watching the wrong sort of music vid - hip hop or something ;)

Agree that youtube comments are the most moronic on the web, and that is truly saying something.
 
Was it meant to be some kind of threat ? or was it him trying to rap ? Where they lyrics from some crap rap ?

I honestly have no idea.

And yeah, people can totally spoil the experience of watching a good video by making comments that serve no purpose other than to stir crap or annoy people.

if you watch an elton john video you get loads of stupid people who decide that slagging off homosexuals is a good use of the comments box. There are some right losers who cant resist spamming up things with nasty comments about people
 
I've often wondered what sort of person writes, or indeed reads, Youtube comments. Who the hell cares what your opinion is on any video? Youtube is possibly the worst place to try and hold a discussion about something, thats what forums are for.
 
I like the way nearly every video on youtube is capable of having its comments descend into one of these three topics, regardless of what the video is about:

1) How America 'saved' Britain in WWII

2) Mindless racism and bigotry

3) In depth discussion on the evils of homosexuality, and speculation on which of one's adversaries (all of them) are homosexuals

4) Offers to fight in real life, even though many of the arguments that end this way are actually transatlantic and neither of the combatants are actually old enough to get on an aeroplane without their parents

Search for a Gay musician, elton john, freddie mercury, george michael. i can guarantee that the comments will have nothing to do with the actually quality of the video... i bet theres a huge argument going on about religion and sexuality lol
 
Videos about cars or the military get the biggest numb skulls and stupidist coments in them
 
I've seen loads of random comments as well. They should just get rid of comments all together.
